To strengthen regional trade ties and foster economic growth, SACCUSA has embarked on a collaborative partnership with the Zimbabwe Embassy and Ambassador HE Tadeous T. Chifamba. This cooperative endeavour aims to promote trade between Southern African countries, including Zimbabwe, and the United States.

Zimbabwe’s vast reserves of rare earth minerals and lithium, which are crucial components in the production of electric vehicle batteries, was one of the many important discussion points on the agenda during a recent high-level Zimbabwean trade delegation visit to Atlanta.

The President of the SA Chamber USA (SACCUSA) had the privilege of meeting the Zimbabwean Ambassador during a recent Zimbabwe trade delegation visit to the Southeastern USA. The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen relations between the South African and Zimbabwean business diasporas.

One of the core engagements of the Gauteng trade delegation was with Intel and centred around municipal capacity building and enhancing South Africa’s digital readiness.

In an effort to attract investment in digital infrastructure at the Vaal SEZ, and propel the growth of Gauteng’s digital economy, SACCUSA recently joined the Gauteng Department of Economic Development Trade Delegation to the US under the leadership of MEC Tasneem Motara.
