Update to the H-2A program – SACCUSA is forging a partnership with MEC Tasneem Motara and the Gauteng Department of Economic Development to diversify and expand the H-2A program by increasing the number of temporary agricultural workers from South Africa through targeted interventions.

SACCUSA recently played a pivotal role in facilitating a crucial meeting between the US Chamber of Commerce and the trade delegation led by MEC Tasneem Motara, highlighting the strategic significance of Gauteng in the global economic landscape.

In an effort to attract investment in digital infrastructure at the Vaal SEZ, and propel the growth of Gauteng’s digital economy, SACCUSA recently joined the Gauteng Department of Economic Development Trade Delegation to the US under the leadership of MEC Tasneem Motara.
The South African Chamber of Commerce United States of America (SACCUSA) President, Mr Neil Diamond, addressed the Annual National Black Business Conference in the USA, underscoring the profound significance of the African American Diaspora’s support in upholding South Africa’s participation in AGOA (African Growth and Opportunity Act).

Women’s Day is celebrated on August 9 and this year’s theme was centred around women’s socio-economic rights and empowerment. The concept of generation equality is a global campaign and links South Africa to global efforts to achieve gender equality.

SACCUSA Vice-President Magda Odendaal was recently interviewed as a special guest of Lorna Greyling on Distro TV channel 170 and Local Now channel 504 in the USA. The program was themed “steppingstones” to success with Magda Odendaal.
