SACCUSA recently played a pivotal role in facilitating a crucial meeting between the US Chamber of Commerce and the trade delegation led by MEC Tasneem Motara, highlighting the strategic significance of Gauteng in the global economic landscape.

One of the core engagements of the Gauteng trade delegation was with Intel and centred around municipal capacity building and enhancing South Africa’s digital readiness.

In an effort to attract investment in digital infrastructure at the Vaal SEZ, and propel the growth of Gauteng’s digital economy, SACCUSA recently joined the Gauteng Department of Economic Development Trade Delegation to the US under the leadership of MEC Tasneem Motara.

In a significant move towards enhancing bi-national trade between the United States and Southern African Development Community (SADC) nations, SACCUSA met with various SADC ambassadors.
The South African Chamber of Commerce United States of America (SACCUSA) President, Mr Neil Diamond, addressed the Annual National Black Business Conference in the USA, underscoring the profound significance of the African American Diaspora’s support in upholding South Africa’s participation in AGOA (African Growth and Opportunity Act).

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CyberAllicance and SACCUSA, proved to be a pivotal moment in the realm of cybersecurity and international trade. This collaborative initiative is set to bolster cybersecurity infrastructure and pave the way for secure and prosperous bilateral trade between the United States and South Africa.

The 123rd National Black Business Conference was recently held in Washington with representatives from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana, amongst others, discussing bi-national trade and investment by strengthening the bridge between black business in the USA and Africa.
