Michael Myburgh grew up in Nelspruit, right in the heart of the Lowveld. Nowadays he lives in Charleston SC which is called the Low Country in the USA. When he decided what to call his business, he combined his two ‘homes’ and Lowfeld Soul Food was born. The company is well-known for its great biltong and droëwors products, but don’t underestimate the boerewors as it is a popular seller for them.
