Meet our board: Secretary General – Mrs Michelle Naicker

25 Apr 22 | Chamber News

Michelle Naicker is the Secretary General of the South African Chamber of Commerce in the USA, a role she took up in August 2021, with a focus on growing the South African business network and community in the USA.

Being an active part of the community is at the core of Michelle’s value system. She has extensive experience in youth development, as a graduate educator, having been a teacher in South Africa, the UK and the USA.

After years of investing in the knowledge base of children, Michelle exchanged the classroom for the financial services industry.

She obtained an MBA and worked as a professional Financial Advisor for a top company in Metro Atlanta. Michelle was passionate about property and her commitment to her community and love of people then guided her to become a Real Estate Agent.

As a leading realtor in Metro Atlanta, she has helped many South African families move from rental properties into their own homes. Michelle believes in the upliftment and growth of others and shares her wealth of experience as a volunteer couch and mentor for industry peers.

She has a long history serving people in need and the underprivileged in South Africa and is focussed on those less fortunate. Michelle serves on various charity organisations and other non-profits that work to empower and develop Women in Business in South Africa and the USA.

Michelle has a vision to grow the chamber to reach South Africans in all 50 states of the USA.
