Chairman of SACCUSA’s Board, Mr Robert Gumede, visited the USA for talks with chamber president Mr Neil Diamond. Discussions focused on improving the flow of trade, investment, and tourism between our two countries and the SADC economic development region.
Tourists from the USA represented the largest group of foreign tourists to South Africa in 2021 and ways to keep the momentum going were discussed. SACCUSA is playing an important role in the post-Covid economic recovery of South Africa.
“A business round table with US companies doing business in South Africa is planned for later in 2022 when Mr Gumede and other business leaders plan to visit the country.”
