Pure mouth-watering delights, including dainty South African style cucumber sandwiches, crustless melktert, old fashioned melktert, Cremora condensed milk tarts and biltong, were amongst the picks at the recent ‘Tannie’s Tea’ held in Nashville. Kobie Pretorius, organiser, once again put a magnificent event together where South African traditions were celebrated through the food everyone loves. They’ve been going for over 20 years and each event remains something to look forward to.
