It was all glitz and glam, with the flavour of Africa, during a recent dinner reception in honour of Dr Akintoye Akindele from Nigeria, who was appointed Goodwill Ambassador and Honorary Citizen of Georgia.
He serves as the Chairman and CEO of Duport Midstream Company Ltd, Co-Chair of WhiteSpace X and CEO Diatom Impact. One of the companies he leads, Duport Midstream, is developing the first Energy Park in Nigeria. Dr Akindele also recently led about 15 leading global investment partners on a tour of three African Countries to explore latent opportunities – resulting in more than ten million dollars in foreign investment.
The event was held at the Wimbish House, where guests enjoyed a five-course meal prepared by the Nigerian ‘Billionaire Chef.’ The menu consisted of authentic African culinary delights, coupled with exquisite wines.
