In Lorton Virginia, Saffas had their dancing shoes on when they recently celebrated Heritage Day. There was plenty to eat, but for new Saffa friends, it was a wonderful opportunity to mingle and share their love of SA traditions.
The recent Kentucky Potjie was a roaring success with 150 Saffas gathering around the aromas of chicken curry, lamb, oxtail, beef, chicken and vegetarian potjies while reminiscing about the shared traditions of their home country.
