Chambers across the globe join forces to create one network

In an effort to foster economic growth and promote international trade, the South African Chamber of Commerce in the USA (SACCUSA) has joined forces with other South African Chambers around the world to establish a robust network of South African businesses and professionals.

This collaborative initiative aims to create a supportive ecosystem that facilitates connections, knowledge sharing, and business opportunities for South Africans operating in diverse international markets. SACCUSA will become part of an international South African chamber organisation, inclusive of South African chambers in the UK, Europe, Singapore, Dubai (UAE), Mauritius and South Korea to name but a few.

This is an exciting opportunity to connect SACCUSA members to a global footprint of trade and investment with South Africa.

By leveraging their collective strengths and resources, the international chamber will forge partnerships with various business organisations, industry associations, and government agencies worldwide.

This collaboration serves as a platform for South African businesspeople to gain access to global networks, tap into new markets, and foster strategic alliances. By establishing this international network, the South African Chambers of Commerce internationally aim to promote South African products, services, and investment opportunities to a wider audience.

This initiative not only benefits South African businesses but also contributes to the economic growth of the broader Southern African Economic Region. Furthermore, its aim will be to strengthen bilateral ties between South Africa and other countries, fostering cultural understanding and cooperation.

Mr. Neil Diamond, President of SACCUSA, said: “The collaborative efforts of the SA Chamber USA, alongside other international South African Chambers, to establish an international network of South African businesspeople, is a significant step towards promoting economic growth and expanding business opportunities. This initiative contributes to the success of South African businesspeople operating in global markets, while also strengthening ties between nations.”
